I created this blog to share the various wisdoms God has revealed to me through the ups and downs of life. I hope that you feel as though you are reading directly from my diary because, in most cases, you will be.

My prayer for you is that as you read, you will be blessed with the same blessings I have received. I pray that if you relate to my victories, defeats, pain, and/or joy, God would utilize my stories to assist you in navigating this complex life as a Christian with a greater sense of peace, joy, and assurance.

I believe God has given us all who put our faith in Jesus the power, ability, and strength to live a life of victory over the enemy. We have free will, and we have the Holy Spirit. He has given us the gift and power of choice and the help and descernment of the Spirit. But with great power comes great responsibility.

We impact the world around us. We bring life or we breed death. We bring glory to God or glory to ourselves, the world, or the enemy. The impact we choose to have happens with our daily choices, whether we like it or not. And whether we like it or not, no one else can make our choices for us, and no one is responsible for the choices we decide to make.

Some shy away from this truth and responsibility in fear of failure. Some choose to pull back when faced with difficult circumstances or with their own mistakes. Some choose to pity themselves. Some choose to blame God and doubt His goodness.

In light of Jesus and God's endless gentleness, mercy, and grace for my limitations and sin, I choose to fight for my faith. I choose to know the truth of God's word. I choose to believe it, apply it, and strive to live it out. I choose to love God with all my heart and all my mind. I choose to surrender my ways to Him. I choose to take radical responsibility, and I choose to own my impact on the world around me.
